He also runs a clinic where he performs illegal abortions and sterilizations. Zainub's mother, Surrayya (Zaib Rehman), is a submissive and silent woman who suffers from her husband's cruelty and violence. Zainub's sisters have different personalities and dreams, but they all live in fear of their father's wrath.
Zainub's life changes when she meets Mustafa (Atif Aslam), a progressive and kind-hearted neighbor who falls in love with her. Mustafa encourages Zainub to stand up for herself and her family.
